Jay Subiakto prihatin dengan industri musik dan film Indonesia

Sebagai seorang sutradara papan atas Indonesia Jay Subiakto mengaku sangat prihatin dengan industri musik dan film tanah air, menurutnya saat ini anak-anak muda Indonesia tidak bisa bebas dalam berkarya karena semuanya sudah diatur oleh industri “Saya prihatin terhadap anak muda sekarang karena semuanya serba diatur oleh industri, buat musik diatur, buat film pun diatur” ucapnya saat konperensi pers ‘40 tahun Erros Djarot berkarya’ di Senayan City.


Jay yang saat ini dpercaya sebagai  Art Director dalam pertunjukan seni ’40 tahun Erros Djarot berkarya’ ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa anak muda harus mencontoh perjuangan Erros Djarot dalam bermusik dan film yang menurutnya tidak mau diatur oleh industri “kita harus melihat perjuangan mas Erros ketika dia bermusik dulu dia sebenarnya melawan industri musik yang pada tahun itu didominasi oleh lagu-lagu cengeng, mas Erros ini contoh ketika dia dulu membuat film dan musik dia tidak mengikuti tren yang ada. ini yang sekarang kita kehilangan orang-orang seperti mas Erros” ucap pria juga sering dipercaya sebagai penata artisitik & sutradara pertunjukan artis papan atas seperti 3diva dan Chrisye.
