Happy Salma ingatkan soal pelanggaran HAM lewat film pendek

Sebagai bentuk keprihatinan melihat masih adanya ketidakadilan terhadap sebagian masyarakat Indonesia, khusunya soal pelanggaran HAM. Happy Salma bersama Titimangsa Foundation sebuah lembaga kebudayaan yang didirikan oleh aktris yang peduli terhadap seni kebudayaaan ini, membuat film pendek yang berjudul “kamis ke-300”. “film ini kami persembahkan untuk pejuang HAM yang tak pernah berhenti berjuang untuk keadilan” ucap Happy Salma saat ditemui di acara pemutaran film pendeknya di Goethe Institut.


Dengan film pendek tersebut, Happy Salma mencoba mengingatkan kepada masyarakat Indonesia untuk tidak lupa terhadap segala bentuk pelanggaran HAM yang pernah terjadi di negeri ini, “saya dengan film ini ingin menggerakan hati siapapun bahwa kita jangan pernah lupa kalau banyak saudara-saudara kita di tanah air ini yang keadilannya terenggut” lanjut Happy Salma. Proses pengerjaan film yang berdurasi 15 menit ini berlangsung selama sepuluh bulan karena dikerjakan di sela-sela kesibukan masing-masing. Terakhir Happy Salma berhrap film ini tidak hanya sekedar menjadi garam dilautan luas tapi bisa memberikan pesan bahwa di Indonesia, masih ada rakyatnya yang belum mendapat keadilan di negerinya sendiri.

Buchenwald Concentration Camp Liberated by American Troops (1945)

Buchenwald was one of the first and largest concentration camps in Nazi Germany. As US forces closed in on the camp near the end of WWII, the Nazis began evacuating its prisoners, forcing them on "death marches" during which an estimated 13,500 were killed.
