Upaya dalam pengembangan sistem informasi nasional


Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan dalam rangka pengembangan pembangunan sistem informasi nasional:

-Pengembangan penggunaan protokol TCP/IP sebagai standar dalam pengembangan infrastruktur Sistem informasi nasional, karena dengan menggunakan standard protokol TCP/IP dapat memungkinkan berbagai information superhighway (ratusan Mbps) untuk berintegrasi dengan berbagai macam jenis komputer dan jaringan packet radio yang telah berkembang di Indonesia.

-Membangun infrastruktur sistem informasi nasional secara mandiri dengan memprioritaskan pada infrastruktur informasi hulu agar menjamin sinergi pembanguna sistem informasi nasional. Beberapa alternatif teknologi informasi hulu, seperti packet radio network dan interkom.

-Mengoptimalkan peran daerah sebagai sarana pertukaran suplay database atau database exchange, karena tanpa suplay database dari daerah. Sistem informasi nasional yang dijalankan oleh pusat tidak akan memiliki data yang up to date.

-Pengembangan sistem Informasi E-Government Open Source, sebagai upaya dalam menjaga kondisi keuangan negara yang  tidak stabil.


Namun, bagaimana pun juga harus ada sebuah action plan yang jelas dan keberanian untuk mengambil langkah strategis guna membangun sebuah E-Government Nasional, agar dapat mewujudkan good governance dan pelayanan umum yang terbaik.
